How to create Centrifuge on-chain address guide

Here you will find step-by-step guide on how to create your Centrifuge on-chain address

1. Go to https://polkadot.js.org/extension/ and download Polkadot Js extension. Chrome/Firefox available

Click “Download for Chrome/Download for Firefox”

Then click “Add to Chrome”

You will see your extension in the top right corner of your browser

2. Now let’s create a wallet

Click here to open your Polkadot Js extension

Click here to add new wallet

It’s your mnemonic phrase. Save it somewhere in the safe place and do not share it with anyone. Centrifuge team or ambassadors will never ask for it! So, save it and click on the “Next step”

Choose “Allow use on any chain”. Name your address and choose password. Then click on “Add the account with the generated seed”

And here you go.

3. Now we have created a wallet for every Polkadot chain, but we want to get Centrifuge address, right? Let’s do it now.

We need to go to Centrifuge portal firstly

( if you can’t access this site you should delete your clover wallet )

Now we should go to “Accounts” page

And here you go. By clicking on the name of your address you will see it in the top right corner.

You can copy your address by clicking on icon shown above on screenshot.

Important notice. Every Centrifuge address have 4xxx format.
